After you schedule an online memorial service, we will meet with you to help plan the service, whether that takes the form of a “memorial service”, “homegoing” or a “celebration of life”. If you’re unsure what to include for your order of service, we can give guidance.
Creating the memorial page
Once you’ve set the time, we’ll create an online memorial page which includes an obituary and an RSVP form that your family and friends can use to register for the service.
Creating the digital memorial card
An opitonal digital memorial card will be available for all your guests. You will also be given a copy of the pdf in advance. We have several templates for you to choose from, and we will customize these with pictures and text you provide.
Preparing images & slides
You may wish to have a slideshow of photos running at some point during the online memorial service. We can assist you in putting this together (you provide the images and we’ll take care of the rest) or if you already have a slideshow/video you can submit it to us to include in the service..
Gathering guestbook messages
A digital guestbook is available via the comments on the memorial page. These comments will be moderated before they are visible.
Running a pre-event rehearsal
Prior to your online memorial service, we will run a pre-event rehearsal with you and anyone on the program for the event to make sure all speakers are comfortable with how to use the platform.
Managing the online memorial service
We will be there for you every step of the way. That means we will be there during the service too, in the event that you have any last minute questions or need any assistance. We can also provide an officiant or online moderator as an optional service.
Providing the digital recording of the service
Your service will be recorded and a digital copy will be provided to you. This can be particularly helpful if someone could not make it during the time of the live event. The video recording can also be available for viewing on a dedicated webpage.
